Meet The Doctor

Dr. Katlyn Batts grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from Clarion University, she moved to Tennessee and earned her Masters Degree in Biomedical Science.  In 2021, she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. 

Upon earning her DVM degree, she began practicing in Kingsport, Tennessee.  She is skilled in all aspects of general practice.  Her services have included wellness and preventive care, surgical care, diagnostics, ultrasound, radiography, end of life care, and euthanasia.

She is married to her wonderful husband, Devin and together they are raising their little boy, Walker. She is also stepmother to Devin’s son, Cooper.  They share their home with Groot, Oden, and Mantis, their three dogs. All of them are named after Marvel characters.  In her free time, Dr. Batts enjoys taking walks with her family or dreaming about the next home improvement project to share with her husband.
